About the Courses

Your Instructor.
All instructors are appropriately qualified to work on the course you are booked on to, and are members of AMI (Association of Mountaineering Instructors). They will have a variety of experience both personally and professionally. A wide range of experience both centre and commercially based means your instructor will have the skill base and aptitude to give you an exciting, safe and informative course. The main instructors are myself and Paul James.

Travel.

North Wales is easily accessible from the north along the A55, or along the old London to Holyhead Road (A5) from the Midlands and South. Or alternatively by train to Bangor, via Chester or Crewe.

For Scotland most courses run out of Aviemore, so either up the A9 or there is a convenient sleeper service on the train.

Accommodation.

We recommend good local accommodation in Snowdonia and the Cairngorms so you can find something that suits your needs. In Snowdonia we recommend the Bryn Tyrch.
