INTRODUCTION TO ROCK CLIMBING.
Aimed at those who have never rock climbed before. You
will learn about the equipment and how to use it safely, starting
with harness and helmet fitting, moving on as the week or weekend
progresses to learning about how to set up safe rope systems. Whilst
learning all this you will have the opportunity to sample different
rock types, become familiar with guidebook interpretation and get
some technique coaching along the way.
Normal Ratios for this course are 1:4 for the first
two days and then 1:2 for the rest of the week.

INSIDE - OUT.
If you are currently an enthusiastic indoor
climber wanting to get outside and enjoy the fantastic crags
of Britain then this is the course for you. This 2 day course
covers all you need to know to start climbing in the outdoor
environment. You will experience real rock and learn how to
set up rope systems to allow you to top rope climbs. By the
end of the weekend you will be able to interpret guidebooks
and leave ready for your next weekend adventure. This course
can be run in Snowdonia or the Peak District, which ever is
more convenient for you.

ROCK IMPROVER.
A course for those who have some outside rock climbing experience
and would like to build upon this knowledge to move on to multi-pitch
climbing. You learn about gear placement, building safe belays,
keeping yourself safe in descent, guidebook interpretation,
climbing movement and technique.

two days and then 1:2 for the rest of the week.

LEARN TO LEAD.
So you have seconded some routes, you enjoy
being out on the rock and you want to take on the sharp end
of the rope. If you have prior experience of seconding rock
climbs outside then we can move on to the next step and help
you progress onto placing gear for yourself and leading climbs.
The course will cover gear placements, belays and climbing technique
as well as general crag safety.

two days and then 1:2 for the rest of the week.

BIG WALL CLIMBING.
Inspired by the huge swathes of granite
you see when looking at photos of El Capitan? If so and you
are planning a big walling trip, why not get the rope work sorted
out first so you can make the most of your holiday. Over 2 days
we will cover basic aiding techniques, how to clean pitches
efficiently, hauling techniques and equipment, so that when
you arrive to your big wall destination you can get stuck in.

GUIDED CLIMBS.
We can offer a variety of guided climbs throughout the country.
From the sea stacks in northern Scotland to the granite cliffs
of Cornwall. Weeks and weekends are available for a variety
of locations to help you climb those classic routes you have
always dreamed of. Favorite locations include Pembroke, Scottish
Sea Stacks, Cornish Granite, and Snowdonia Classic Climbs. E-mail

Prices for guided climbs;
1:1 Ratio - £160 per person per day
1:2 Ratio - £80 per person per day
1:3 Ratio - £70 per person per day

SPA REFRESHER.
We can offer a day or 2 day course to refresh you skills between
SPA training and assessment. The course can be tailored to your
needs and will cover the aspects of the syllabus you feel you
need to brush up on. We can run this refresher with a ratio
of up to 1:6.
