1 instructor : 1 client £160 per day
1:2 £80 per person per day
1:3 £70 per person per day
1:4 £55 per person per day
1:6 £45 per person per day
1:10 £25 per person per day
CLASSIC GUIDED WALKS.
Be taken on that walk you have longed to go on. The Snowdon
horseshoe, a tour of the Glyders, bag the Langdale pikes or
a few Scottish Munros. Your instructor will show you all the
sites of interest, flora and fauna on route. They will deal
with the route finding and navigation all you need to worry
about is enjoying your packed lunch, take in the fresh mountain
air and click away with the camera so you can show off the fantastic
views when you get home. This course can work on a 1:1 up to
a 1:10 ratio.

HILL WALKING SKILLS. This
course is designed to give you the skills to feel confident
in the mountains. You will learn about mountain navigation,
route choice and finding, safety equipment, the weather and
the environment. By the end of the course you will feel ready
to plan your own adventures in the hills.This course works best
as a 1:6 ratio but can work on any ratio up to 6 people per
course.

INTRODUCTION TO NAVIGATION.
Learn all about the black art from the very start. Over two
days we will cover map choices, grid references, orientating
the map, following linear features, contour interpretation,
strategies for navigation, use of compass and how to put all
these things together to help you become a confident navigator.This
course works on a maximum of 1:6 ratio so course members can
discuss ideas and learn from one another. Lower ratios are also
possible for those wanting more detail.

ADVANCED NAVIGATION. A
higher level course aimed to help you fine tune your navigation
skills over two days. More complex strategies and skills will
be used on this course. We will look in detail at contour interpretation
and also cover strategies for poor weather providing you with
a toolbox for all occasions.This course works on a maximum of
1:4.

INTRODUCTION
TO SCRAMBLING.
Enjoy walking in the mountains but fancy something a little
more hands on? Scrambling is a fantastic way to explore the
mountains with a little more interest but without the hassle
of ropes. Your instructor will take you to explore a variety
of mountains, from classic ridges to the quieter less known
areas.This course works on a maximum of 1:6.

ADVANCED SCRAMBLING.
For those of you who enjoy scrambling up the rocky mountain
ridges and wish to learn more about rope work to take you onto
harder scrambles. This course will cover basic rope work required
to keep you safe on the higher grade scrambles.This course works
on a maximum 1:3 ratio, 1:2 is perfect to allow good progress
through the hills.

CUILLIN RIDGE PREPARATION.
A course designed to help you prepare and gain the skills needed to help keep yourself safe on the cuillin ridge.
